Today in "No, no, mm-mm, mm-mmm, no, no, no no no, no, hell no, No, No, I refu-no, no": Harry Styles revealed that his new single will be called "Sign Of The Times" on the 30th anniversary of the release of Prince's landmark album Sign O' The Times.
Taking to Twitter, the One Direction star revealed that the name of his first single is Sign Of The Times.
In a unusual coincidence, late music icon Prince released his career-changing record Sign O' The Times on exactly the same day, three decades ago.
The singer is expected to score a huge hit with his debut Sign Of The Times when it's released on April 7.
Harry risked the wrath of fans of the Purple Rain singer by using March 31, the date his famed Sign O' The Times record was released in 1987, to announce the news.
Since then, it was also confirmed that Harry would be making his solo television debut on "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) next month. @Prince is coming back from the grave to snatch that title back!
Ben, who directed Harry in This Is Us as well as the videos for History, Drag Me Down and more, shared the same image and wrote: "7th April #signofthetimes this song is pretty incredible @harrystyles".
We know Harry is a Prince fan, so his new project's name may be a nod to the late singer-or at least a clue as to what kind of music inspired Harry's new style.
This will mark Styles' first release as a solo artist since One Direction went on hiatus in March 2016.
