Paul McCartney has joined the army of famous musicians who have offered up tributes to Chuck Berry, who died over the weekend (18Mar17).

Charlie Daniels called Berry "the greatest rock and roll lyricist ever". We'll miss you, Chuck.

Berry was a a member of the Blues Hall of Fame, a Grammy Awards Lifetime Achievement Award victor, and one of the first inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Comprising of ten new recordings, eight of which were written by Berry, "Chuck" is his first new album since the 1979 "Rock It", read a statement from Decca Records which is releasing it.

Berry leaves behind four children: Darlin Ingrid Berry, Aloha Berry, Charles Berry Jr. and Melody Exes Berry-Eskridge.
