"For some more movie fun, ask me something about Belle". The Odd Couple-esque interplay between frisky French candelabra Lumiere and stodgy grandfather clock Cogsworth was the main source of comedy in the original animated film, and one can assume they will be an equally large part of the live action version. Some things worked really well and others just took you right out of the film.
Emma Watson might need to open up another vault at Gringotts because her bank account is getting some love after a big "Beauty and the Beast" payday.
"I don't think they're anywhere close to trailing off soon", says Jeff Bock, senior box office analyst at Exhibitor Relations.
The recent backlash over a gay character in Beauty and the Beast isn't expected to hurt the film's potential, with online ticket seller Fandango saying the movie is generating the fastest advance sales of any family feature.
"For the first time, SM Cinema holds an advance screening of Disney movie in Davao City.and we are looking forward to more partnership with (the studio) in the future", said Aron Dalaza, SM City Davao and SM Lanang Premier Group Marketing manager. But until that time sit back and enjoy this GIF of Emma Watson playing with a bunch of little cute kittens. The Beast, Gaston and Lafeu are also marvelously brought to life by Dan Stevens, Luke Evans and Josh Gad, respectively.
The movie tells about the fantastic journey of Belle, a smart, book-loving, lovely and independent young woman taken prisoner by a beast in his castle.
I recommend you go watch this enchanting musical that is very handsome and just a tad bit beastly. "But this version rarely convinces you it needed to be made at all, and it inadvertently proves that a 2-D cartoon can be the more powerful, cleanly told narrative object".
But there are still plenty of magical moments in "Beauty & The Beast". "I hope you enjoy it". Disney hasn't even bothered to make a tale as old as time feel new again.
