Apple launches iPhone 7 Red and we love it!

The special edition Product (RED) iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus will be available only in 128GB and 256GB storage variants and the pricing starts from Rs. 82,000 in India. "Customers love the large, 9.7-inch display for everything from watching TV and movies, to surfing the web, making FaceTime calls, and enjoying photos, and now it is even more affordable", Apple Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing Philip Schiller said in a news release. It will be launched on Friday, March 24.

Apple also announced it would be offering its iPhone 7 in a red special edition to benefit HIV/AIDS programs through its partnership with (RED).

Consumers are now able to buy the iPhone 7 in red, as well as the existing colours Jet Black, Black, Silver, Gold and Rose Gold.

Apple chief Tim Cook said in a statement that Apple customers have already made a significant impact in fighting the spread of the virus through the purchase of other special-edition Apple gadgets benefiting the charity.

On the other hand, (RED) CEO Deborah Dugan also talked about the project. The aesthetic refresh gives the units a red aluminum finish that is unique and classically done.

RED is an organization which fights against AIDS intending to create an AIDS free generation.

This special edition iPhone joins the current (PRODUCT) RED lineup.

These items are available all year-round on the Apple Store. The lineup also includes the full iPod line of products, Beats Pill+ Portable Speaker, Beats Solo3 Wireless On-Ear Headphones and more.

Apple has announced limited edition (PRODUCT) RED iPhones which feature a deep crimson matt aluminium finish and the same specs as the regular iPhone line-up. The new model will begin shipping to customers from 24 of March in the United States and more than 40 countries and regions around the world.
