The CHP says the two girls were abducted Friday afternoon from Greenville in Plumas County. An Amber Alert was in effect Saturday.
- An Amber Alert has been issued for two girls abducted from Greenville in Northern California on Friday.
Solai is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall and 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Laila is around 4-feet tall weighing 60 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
Officials have named the children's mother, 33-year-old Alicia Lapp as a suspect.
The CHP headquarters tweeted around 3:43 p.m. that the girls were safely located and the suspect is in custody.
The girls are described as Asian.
Lapp is a 5-foot-2 white woman who weighs 105 pounds.
She was last seen driving a 2016 black Toyota Prius with a license plate of 7UHH003.
