Xi, Trump to meet at Florida resort on April 6

It said Trump and his wife, Melania, would host Xi and his wife, Peng Liyuan, at a dinner next Thursday.
On Thursday, Trump tweeted that the upcoming meeting with his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, "will be a very hard one", Efe news reported. Trump added, "American companies must be prepared to look at other alternatives". We have big problems, everything from the South China Sea to trade, to North Korea.
The U.S.is preparing a review of China's bid for market-economy status under the World Trade Organization, the Wall Street Journal reported.

Beijing is also deeply suspicious of US intentions towards self-ruled Taiwan, which China claims as its own, after Trump broke with decades of USA policy by taking a phone call from Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen and saying that Washington did not have to stick to a "one China" policy.
Just weeks ago the summit seemed a distant possibility after Trump infuriated Beijing with suggestions he might break from the "One China" policy.
The first meeting between the two leaders will stretch from April 6-7.
