Chelsea have chose to forget about signing Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata in order to focus their efforts on Premier League duo Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez, according to the Telegraph. The Belgian forward scored four in March, netting in a 3-2 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur, scoring and assisting in a 3-0 home win over West Bromwich Albion and notching a brace in a 4-0 triumph over Hull City.
Howe received the award for the first time and, at 39 years old, became the youngest-ever recipient, after leading Bournemouth unbeaten through March, winning two games and drawing one, to move nine points clear of the relegation zone.
Chelsea have always been interested in re-signing Lukaku, who is the top scorer in the Premier League this season, and The Telegraph claims they had a sizeable bid rejected for the talented Belgian forward last summer.
"It feels really good", he said.
