North Carolina not looking for redemption at Final Four

If you would like to discuss another topic, look for a relevant article. Dorsey, in particular, has been spectacular in the NCAA tournament.
Those words - "the road ends here" - are written on the edge of the court, and the Tar Heels took a moment to put this journey of theirs into perspective. While that might not seem significant, it's the highest rank in the Final Four, with Gonzaga at 134th.
"A dream come true", said Pinson, the junior forward.
Using the hometown listed on the roster page, we have broken down the contributions of in-state players to their Final Four seasons. "It's something we talked about, but it's like now that we're actually here, it's insane". He cited Oregon's Midwest Regional final victory over Kansas as the most impressive performance of the NCAA Tournament and noted that SC arguably handed the Vols their most thorough beating of the season. They went through a mourning process - for some it was longer than others - after the way last season ended. They led the Tar Heels most of the way before falling 73-71 at North Carolina, which played that game without injured guard Joel Berry II. If the Ducks succeed in holding Hicks and Meeks in check, they can live with a good game from Jackson.
The heartbreak inspired a mission, too: redemption. The Tar Heels won the ACC, which went 9-8 during the Big Dance. Whatever those reasons are or may be, they should be changed immediately. They unleashed a 65-point second half against Duke.
OR earned their Final Four bid with wins over Iona, Rhode Island, Michigan, and Kansas.
OR had title dreams past year, too. It's pretty reliable stuff, if I do say so myself.
"But we've just got to focus on what's going on now and just realize that yeah, we made it back to where we were past year, but it's a different team".
"I just had some type of feeling to pick Oregon", Sasha said. His fear before the team arrived in Arizona, after all, had been "that everyone's going to talk and those guys are going to talk about national championship game previous year", Williams said earlier this week. He was in his first year as the head coach at Marshall when Williams made his first trip to the Big Dance. It made him cautious. They have an old-school coach in Roy Williams. It's easier to get here with coaching at the places I've been coaching.
"After it ended a year ago, it was always about getting back to that game and winning this", Hicks reiterated on Friday at University of Phoenix Stadium, where the Tar Heels are two wins away from achieving the redemption they have sought for 360 days. OR won the first-ever title in 1939, but they are in the midst of an 87-year championship drought.
He has also said his team's experience, having been on this same stage just one year ago, also won't make much of a difference once Saturday night comes around. He spoke, in particular, about his team's text message group.
Weakness: Roy Williams has a classically-built inside-out team. "And I think that's a big factor on how much better we've gotten defensively".
"No", Williams said this week. "I feel like we need some security around campus". Furthermore, Justin Jackson projects as a surefire first-round selection in the upcoming NBA Draft. "However, we also have an advantage because we want to taste playing in a national championship game".
Jordan Bell is the only Ducks player over 6-5 playing more than 11 minutes per game in the tournament. And only then would they earn the opportunity for the vengeance they so desperately have sought.
The Tar Heels know what it takes to defend well - they did it past year.
