Middleton, Maker lead Bucks to 108-105 OT win over Pistons

Monroe was simply a spectator on the bench with Thon Maker going bonkers with 23 points and four triples.

NBA All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo has teamed up with Mountain Dew to prank some unsuspecting Milwaukee Bucks fans - just in time for April Fools' Day.

But it was Thon who stole the show, hitting big-shot after big-shot down the stretch and attacking the rim easily. Bucks coach Jason Kidd said he'd ease Beasley back into the rotation, limiting him to approximately 15 minutes of action. "You've just got to tip it back, you can't always grab it".

Now that's some tough love for ya. "He did a lot of the little things but I thought, again, he shot the ball when he was open and he made plays on the defensive end". "He was a difference in the game".

NOTES: Milwaukee was without PG Malcolm Brogdon, who was sidelined with back pain. He took four shots in overtime, including a critical 3-pointer delivered by Matthew Dellavedova, that helped put the Bucks ahead by 3, and surge to a comeback victory. Maker's putback with 51 seconds left completed the rally, tying the score at 95.

The Bucks heeded the cries of "Defense!" from their fans in overtime at the Bradley Center. Caldwell-Pope hit a 3 with 1:22 left to tie the game at 102, but Detroit didn't hit another field goal until Ish Smith's 3 with 0.1 seconds left.

Antetokounmpo finished with 28 points, 14 rebounds and nine assists. Caldwell-Pope declined to speak with reporters before game in Milwaukee and finished with 17 points. Totals 44-97 10-16 105.

THON Maker has had the best game of his young career, proving that his role as a starter is more than symbolic. Totals 35-84 24-34 108. Rebounds - D 54 (Drummond 13), M 48 (Antetokounmpo 14).
