Manchester United target goalkeepers as Real Madrid pursue De Gea

José Mourinho is said to be willing to meet the France star's minimum transfer fee in the summer and several reports in England have highlighted that the conversation between De Gea and Griezmann has given Man Utd fans hope the Frenchman can move to the Old Trafford in the summer.

The Spanish global signed a new four-year deal at Old Trafford just a fortnight later but the La Liga giants are interested in signing the former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper again this summer.

Handanovic has been linked to various Premier League clubs in recent years, including Liverpool and Manchester City, whereas it would surely take a king's random to prize Donnarumma from the Rossoneri, given his astounding composure for someone so young. The towering teenager is now part of the Italian national team and has kept 10 clean sheets in the league this season.

United midfielder Ander Herrera cast further doubt on De Gea's Old Trafford future last week, when asked the situation while on global duty with Spain. Some of the names being mentioned are Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann―said to be 50-50 to join the club―and the Monaco trio of Bakayoko, Fabinho and Kylian Mbappe.

Jose Mourinho made sure to keep his No 1 close when taking over from Louis van Gaal and appointed De Gea's former mentor Emilio Alvarez as the club's goalkeeping coach.

De Gea had just a year to run on his deal in 2015 and Madrid struck a deal worth around £30million with the Red Devils.
