Samsung just unveiled its new Galaxy S8 smartphone

Samsung Pay is also supported out-of-the-box.
Samsung later embarked on a campaign to restore its battered reputation, placing full-page advertisements in U.S. newspapers, admitting it "fell short" on its promises. The Galaxy S8 and S8+ are longer and narrower than their predecessor phones giving users more real estate to work upon.
The S8 has an improved glass screen which covers the entire front of the device.
Does the S8 bring the wow?Other apps will be able to adopt Bixby, but Samsung has had a mixed track record in getting other companies to support its home-brewed functions, such as an "Air View" feature for showing pop-up previews of content.

Camera: While both versions have the same 12MP dual pixel rear-facing camera, the front-one packs 8MP.
A report also cited that the new phone could be competing the newest release smartphones of iPhones. Installed memory for the new phones is 64GB, RAM is 4GB. There is also a new facial recognition application that lets users unlock their phones by looking at them. Samsung has used OLED displays for several years. OLED displays offer richer colors, deeper blacks, a faster refresh rate and use less power than LCD screens.
Samsung's early marketing of the S8 has eschewed the safety issue, which brand experts say is an attempt to avoid reminding consumers of the images of burnt Note 7s that spread throughout the world's media late past year. In addition to the improved display, the company has switched from a physical home button to a digital one. Both the phones come with Samsung Pass to store all your passwords in one place.
Among the announcements was an emphasis on the phones durability and safety, boasting an eight-point battery testing process that "goes beyond the industry standard". They come with ton of sensors like accelerometer, barometer, fingerprint sensor, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, hall sensor, heart rate sensor, proximity sensor, RGB light sensor, iris sensor and pressure sensor.
