Man Faces More Charges After Shooting involving Fetty Wap

On a Twitter account believed to belong to Thomas, he posted that he did not steal a gold chain from Fetty Wap.

The shooting happened Sunday on a street outside a Paterson deli.

(Radio.com) More details have emerged about the incident involving rapper Fetty Wap (real name Willie Maxwell) which resulted in a shooting that injured three people.

None of the three people wounded sustained injuries that were considered life-threatening, police said.

Another man is facing charges after a shooting involving hip-hop star Fetty Wap in his New Jersey hometown. Investigators said the rapper and several friends became involved in a heated altercation with another group. The same guy busted in the Fetty Wap shootout is now charged with jacking his chains - Raheem Thomas was arrested again Tuesday night.

Authorities had announced earlier Wednesday that a hip-hop promoter arrested after the shooting is also facing an armed robbery charge.

Thomas in January also posted a rap song and video on YouTube that was disrespectful of Fetty Wap. Apparently, when the police caught him, the modest mogul was carrying a handgun with hollow points bullets.

Thomas is due to appear in court Wednesday on the new charges. It's unclear if he has retained an attorney. Police charged Raheem Thomas with assault and weapons offenses after it was determined that he hit a man in the head and face with a gun he was not permitted to carry.
