Abby Lee Miller Replaced By 'DWTS' Pro Cheryl Burke On 'Dance Moms'

I'm glad that someone who has worked on a network show for as long as she has on Dancing With the Stars is going to see what I've been working with for seven years.

Former Dancing With the Stars pro Cheryl Burke will be taking over for Miller only days after she quit the Lifetime series.

Sources told ET that the show will resume filming this week following Miller's abrupt departure. Or did Dance Moms last so long just because of Miller's evil and shocking behavior towards the moms and students?

"[Miller was] spiraling and making decisions that most people would think are not smart", sources told ET.

Due to Miller leaving the show, producers reportedly had to bring on Laurieann Gibson to choreograph the kids.

Miller, however, said in an Instagram post that she was quitting the show because she "ASKED, BEGGED, AND EVEN DEMANDED CREATIVE CREDIT FOR ALL THE IDEAS, AWARD-WINNING ROUTINES, THEMES, AND COSTUMING". With the potential of facing up to 10 years in prison, Miller told ET she was staying positive ahead of her sentencing hearing, which was originally scheduled for February 24, but was subsequently delayed.

When Miller returned, she reportedly had a list of demands that included nobody mentioning her fraud case and the removal of Gibson on set. I only met her once at a housewarming party a couple weeks ago. Burke will appear as a guest choreographer, as is standard practice when Miller is unavailable.

"I bet you she's treated differently", she continues. Abby Lee Miller will know her sentence on May 8 and by then, she could make the decision if she is going back for Dance Moms Season 8 provided Lifetime still wants her in their reality show.

Her legal problems stemmed from her 2010 bankruptcy filing, before "Dance Moms" came on air, after having owed taxes in excess of $400,000, according to the International Business Times. In a statement to Radar, she added that Miller is a "huge spoiled brat".
