Smith drops f-bomb as India closes in on win

Dharamsala: Australia captain Steve Smith was seen hurling abuse at the Indian cricket team, after Murali Vijay went up in appeal for a catch against Josh Hazlewood, during the fourth Test in Dharamsala, on Monday.

The visiting captain was clearly seen in a video footage calling India's Murali Vijay a "f**king cheat".

The second "cheating" scandal of this series blew up when Indian players were called back on to the field after sprinting off, thinking the Australian innings was over. He walked off the ground to pad up, but had to return to the field when third umpire Chris Gaffaney ruled it wasn't out.

Smith, who was in the Australian dressing room, was visibly displeased with Vijay's quick run into the pavilion and was caught by television cameras mouthing the words "f**king cheat" as he stomped his way back to his seat.

Steve Smith, pictured during an earlier Test match, was caught on camera mouthing the accusation.

India's Umesh Yadav celebrates after dismissing Australia's Nathan Lyon on day three of the fourth test. Taking aim at Jadeja's selfie-heavy Instagram account and lack of experience outside of his home country, Wade hit a nerve saying "how come you don't get picked outside India?"

Tensions simmered temporarily when the two umpires delivered separate lectures to two groups of Indian players.

India's injured skipper Virat Kohli, who all but accused Australia of systematically cheating by looking to support staff for illegal advice on reviews during the second Test, shook his head after Gaffaney made his decision.

It led to schoolboy-like scenes, with Gould trying to get the attention of Erasmus to alert him to the new spotfire.

India won the Dharamsala Test by 8 wickets in the first session itself, thanks to KL Rahul's sixth fifty in Test series and skipper Ajinkya Rahane quickfire 38 including 4 fours and 2 sixes.

"You called me it".

'I just want to know what it is, hello?

Jadeja said after play: "I was just telling Wade that we will meet and have dinner once you guys have lost the Test".
