Easter Egg Hunt at Eminence Christian Church

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny will be hosted by the Redemption Episcopal Church, 1101 Second Street Pike, Southampton, on April 8 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Egg hunts are at 9:15 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. The free event, open to kids 10 years old and younger, will take place on the football field at the municipal complex. The Easter Bunny himself will make an appearance for photos, so be sure to bring your own basket and camera for photos!

The hunt, sponsored by University Kiwanis Club and organized by Wichita Falls Parks & Recreation Department, will begin at 3 p.m.in the center of Lucy Park.

Railroad Museum of New England, Thomaston: The Easter Bunny will be hopping aboard the Naugatuck Railroad on April 9 and April 15 for a scenic excursion along the Naugatuck River.

Tickets for the event are $10 and reservations are required because space is limited. Don't forget to bring a camera. The ride will leave from the Smoky Valley Train Depot, 200 SE Fifth St., at 1 p.m.

The fun then steps up a gear on Saturday 15th April with a full day of dinosaur-themed activities at Kings Court, organised by Sale-based community arts group Two by Two (curators of 2016's Sale Art Zoo). The hunt is held next to the market's north entrance. Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or over. The second, for ages six to nine, will start at noon.

Lyman Orchards, Middlefield: Spring Apple Hunt on April 22 for children ages 1 to 10. Face painting will also be on hand. Pre-registration strongly recommended by April 6. There will be some Easter-themed Minute-to-Win-it games and a short glow egg hunt.
