Stagefright behind Adele's shock confession she may not tour again

Last night, during a show in Auckland, New Zealand, Adele remarked that she may not tour again, to which I say, "You can't do that, Adele", but unfortunately she can. She'll conclude her live concerts with four shows at Wembley Stadium in London from 28 June to 2 July (17). "Who wants to make a bet with me I'll fall over at some stage - or get electrocuted by my microphone?"

Adele scared her fans when she announced the possibility of never going on a new tour again.

She added: "The only reason I've toured is you". No other artist has sold out Mt Smart Stadium three times.

Adele was so moved by the performance, she said it affected her voice for the next track.

Adele then made her way to Sydney's ANZ Stadium where she played the biggest single concert that Australia has ever seen. But Adele still toured the entire world, hard, behind her 2015 album 25.

The New Zealand Herald reported Monday that Adele remarked at the close of her concert her doubts about continuing to tour. "I won't get pregnant until the end of the tour".

"It's actually getting worse", continued Adele of her stage freight during the tour stop past year.

"Touring isn't something I'm good at", she said. "The future's an open book".

She now heads home to complete her tour with four United Kingdom shows.

Adele sang through heavy rain at the outdoor show in Auckland on Sunday. "I have anxiety attacks, constant panicking on stage", she said.

Last week, Adele's promoter Michael Coppel told the Daily Telegraph that "we may never see her again".
