Moto X (2017) reportedly shown off in leaked photos

The photos of the alleged Moto X 2017 were published on Google+ by a user named Jerry Yin. The Moto G5 Plus comes with a design quite different to its predecessors, with a circular camera panel, a metal body, slightly rounded edges, a home button up front and a new silver colour variant. In the leaked live images, there is a sticker at front that says "MOTOROLA CONFIDENTIAL PROPERTY: NOT FOR SALE".

It will be interesting to see where Lenovo positions the Moto X in Motorola's line up as the Moto Z Play comes with nearly similar specifications and is the current mid-range model in the range. However, this one contains two cameras inside. Antenna lines, a shallow-looking Moto dimple, and a gunmetal gray color on what is presumably aluminum round out the design.

Also what's interesting is that in the photos, there does not appear to be any of the pins that would allow the phone to support the Moto Mods accessories, meaning that if you want to use the Moto Mods, you'll need to stick with Motorola's Moto Z lineup.

There's also a photo of the Moto X 2017 in recovery mode showing some of its specs. The upcoming 2017 Moto X smartphone looks pretty ordinary up front, with rounded corners and a somewhat stout build.

Lenovo recently launched the Moto G5 Plus in India at a price of 14,999 rupees. The model number for the smartphone is XT1801, as per the leaked image. One of the leaked images shows that inside, the phone will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, along with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of on-board storage. We'd expect official launch information to come out later this year.
