Fox News criticized for 'news alert' about Trump's weekend

If he were president, he'd be way too busy for golf, Trump used to say.

Both Trump and his press secretary, Sean Spicer, have knocked former President Barack Obama for his time playing golf on the job.

The dinner followed Trump's visit to the Trump National Golf Club in Virginia earlier on Saturday. If he were to continue at this pace, Trump would play golf approximately 300 times in his four-year term.

Mar-a-Lago, the Florida estate and private club owned by Trump, which he has visited frequently as president and has described as "the Southern White House".

Interestingly, this is the eight week-end that President Trump has spent in properties bearing his name in a row. As several news outlets have subsequently pointed out, Trump spent much of the weekend at Trump National Golf Club in Virginia. The Sunday outing comprised three meetings at the clubhouse, a White House pool report said, but the people involved in the meetings were not revealed.

But not only was this Trump's 13th trip to one of his golf clubs in 10 weeks in office, "like an embarrassed drunk, he's now trying to hide his golf addiction". Trump was said the prior weekend to be having weekend meetings at his Mar-a-Lago Club, which he did.
