Reliance Jio is on a roll.
The company is offering the membership at Rs 99 for people who just want to enroll into the Prime membership. Now if you recharge this plan using your Jio Money, you will once again receive a Rs 50 cashback.
At the beginning of March the company unveiled two offers, the first being if you recharge with Rs 303 then you get a free add-on of Rs 201 which gives you 5GB free data to the existing 28GB that comes with the 303 plan.
Almost 82 percent of Reliance Jio users surveyed have expressed their willingness to continue with its services even after the free offers ends, a Bank of America Merrill Lynch survey today claimed.
Above the Prime membership, users will have to get an additional recharge of Rs 303 per month to continue using the Happy New Year plan.
As many as 82% of respondents said they would continue with Jio connections even after the new telco terminates its free voice and data services, while 96% of those who wish to continue said they want to subscribe to "Jio's Prime offers", with the Rs 303 Prime plan being the most popular, the USA brokerage said in a note seen by ET. You can continue using services at an affordable cost. This would allow you to register as Prime member and avail offers exclusively available to Prime members only.
In an exclusive story, we wanted to let our readers know that Reliance is going to offer a Buy One Get One Free Recharge offer to the Prime users who sign up for Prime before the 31st March of 2017.
In the same breath, the report said that incumbents, particularly Bharti Airtel, should be able to retain most of high-end subscribers given they provide better voice/customer service, but the Average Revenue per User (ARPUs) will come under pressure. The total cashback will amount to Rs 100 which equals the amount required to pay the Prime Membership. Would you be interested in this offer?
