Neymar: "One day I would like to play in the Premier League"

Spurs seemed to be comfortably on their way to a 10th successive home league win when Christian Eriksen and Dele Alli scored in the first half at White Hart Lane.

'I admire Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool - these are the teams that are always there fighting.

"In the Premier League you never know who is going to win or who will be champions, it is always a surprise".

Arsenal have work to do, though: their 3-1 defeat to West Brom at The Hawthorns leaves them six points off a top-four residence they're unaccustomed to finishing outside of, though they have two games in hand.

There were two noteworthy goals from United - Jesse Lingard's spectacular 25-meter strike and Antonio Valencia's injury-time walk-in after a slip from Middlesbrough goalkeeper Victor Valdes - but they were overshadowed by bust-ups on and off the field around the final whistle.

Arsene Wenger insists his Arsenal future does not depend on Champions League qualification. Neymar admitted that he is amazed by the Premier League and also confessed his love for the playing style and the teams involved.

Southampton's James Ward-Prowse, called into the England squad last week, did give fans some late worries but the home side held on to remain second.

City coach Pep Guardiola said it was "one of the happiest days of my career as a manager" after seeing his team fight back to salvage a point against a direct rival for the top four.

Man City were knocked out of the Champions League in the week and it will be interesting to see how they react to that mentally.
