Apparently, the HTC U Ultra smartphone with 64 GB internal storage is being sold in India for Rs 59,990. According to the latest news, HTC is already in the headlines for the U Ultra which has teased for quite some time now, and the limited edition of the device has been lately launched.
HTC U Ultra has a glass-metal design with a glossy back.
HTC Taiwan said last week that it would share an "unexpected surprise" on March 20, and like the company's recent launches, the reveal itself was rather underwhelming. This edition brings a really strong sapphire glass display with amped up inbuilt storage at 128GB.
HTC U Ultra Sapphire Edition has a Sapphire glass on top, rather than the regular Gorilla Glass 5 seen on the common version of the phone. It is not yet known whether this variant will be available in other global markets or not. It costs around $200 more than the 64GB variant of the same handset that's available in Ice White, Cosmetic Pink, and Brilliant Black colors. The smartphone has a 5.7-inch QHD (1440x2560 pixels) display, as well as a secondary 2-inch display with 1040x160 pixels resolution. The device boasts of 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space which is expandable up to 2TB using a microSD card. The customers who will pre-order the Sapphire edition of the HTC U Ultra will also get a leather flip case, a key ring and a Quickcharge 3.0 enabled power bank. As for optics, the HTC U Ultra comes with a 12-UltraPixel rear camera, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera with an UltraPixel mode, and a BSI sensor. The battery inside the U Ultra is a 3000mAh unit, with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support.
