Thanks to Minaj dropping the Drake and Lil Wayne collaboration "No Frauds", "Regret in Your Tears", and "Changed It" (also featuring Lil Wayne) - which came in at No. 14, 61, and 71, respectively - Minaj's ranking went up to 76 entries and the torch has been passed accordingly.
Billboard reports that Aretha Franklin had firmly held title of most Hot 100 appearances among women for almost 40 years. And with Nicki's three most recent releases debuting on the chart, she now holds the record at 76.
Minaj is now six Hot 100 hits ahead of Taylor Swift, who is 12 ahead of Rihanna and 13 ahead of Madonna.
Among all acts in history, the surprising number 1 contender with the most amount of Hot 100 hits is Fox's program Glee which has 207 songs on the list, followed by Lil' Wayne who is at 135 and Drake at 133.
This victory's got to be particularly sweet for Nicki considering her Remy Ma diss track "No Frauds" is part of the reason her tally was pushed over the top. "Been writing my own raps since I was 11", she wrote. The Queens rapper has now officially surpassed Aretha Franklin for the most total appearances on the Billboard Hot 100 of any female artist.
The music video for Derulo and Minaj's song, Swalla, was choreographed by Goebel.
