Dead Rising 4's Frank Rising Story DLC Out On April 4

Dead Rising 4 is ramping up the goofiness even more with its Frank Rising DLC, which turns our hero into a zombie. The DLC will focus on Frank West becoming the newest member of the Williamette horde in a new single player story.

Frank Rising will be coming to Xbox One and Windows 10 on 4th April for $9.99/£7.99 or as part of the Season Pass, ahead of the release of Super Ultra Dead Rising 4 Mini Golf further down the line. Frank is infected and wanders the city beaten, bloody and driven only by a need to feast. Discovered by a former ally, Frank's zombie form is seen as incurable, but help is still at hand for the erstwhile photojournalist.

Frank will not be able to eat regular food to stay alive in this DLC story, and he will have to eat human flesh to survive in it. Players can also get the pack as a standalone purchase for $9.99 United States dollars, or get the game and Season Pass together in the "Dead Rising 4" Digital Deluxe Edition. They also revealed that a new golf course will be released sometime in the future. But on the plus side, he will have new abilities and strength when the DLC arrives April 4. He also learns that there are other survivors trapped in the city with him and he will try to rescue them and his own self before the government wipes it off the map for good. The golf game has the twist of zombie slaying has there are explosive barrels to hit to kill the undead while you try to sink the ball in as few hits as possible.

If you're looking for something even less serious, Super Ultra Dead Rising 4 Mini Golf might be a better choice. Plus, there are power-ups and online multiplayer options.

It's amusing because a lot of people had already called it and said that given the way Dead Rising 4 ended it would likely have DLC to flesh out the ending, and lo and behold there's some DLC to flesh out the ending. Players can also get the pack as a standalone purchase for $9.99, or get the game and Season Pass together in the "Dead Rising 4" Digital Deluxe Edition.
