Apple Store Down At 3am Eastern: New Apple Products Launching?

Apple's System Status reveals that the Apple Store will be closed for maintenance on Tuesday, March 21st, from 3:00am to 8:30am Eastern Time.

Leading the rumors, many sources expect Apple to launch new iPad hardware imminently, with updates to the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, 12.9-inch iPad Pro and a new 10.5-inch bezel-less iPad all reported ...

When the Apple store goes down, it typically means new products are coming.

The rumor mill favors new variants of the iPad Pro.

If the latest analysts' report is correct, and the event is scheduled for next week, then would be much shorter notice than the company usually leaves. This includes iterative updates to the 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro, as well as a new 10.5 inch iPad Pro that will apparently be bezel-less.

The company is also planning to introduce a new connector type for accessories for the iPhone, iPad and other devices through its official Made-for-iPhone (MFi) licensing programme. Nonetheless, we can sure hope that the company will surprise us with a handful of new products and updates for its existing products. There have been tentative reports about Apple adding a 128 GB iPhone SE to the lineup, as well as a new red case color for the iPhone 7.

The company's System Status page does not represent any foreseeable products. Accordingly, any additions or changes to Apple's online store today are likely to be minor, and a press release would be an appropriate medium for sharing the announcements.

Apple has debuted new products in March four times in the last six years.
