Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is predicted to launch along with its sibling Samsung Galaxy S8+. Could Samsung offer a "black pearl" color option for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus from the start? And maybe it goes directly head to head with the Apple's iPhone.
And for the time being, the wait is on for the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S8 which will be unveiled by the developers in the event "Galaxy Unpacked" in NY.
Along with those new renders, some hands-on images have also leaked out, depicting the Galaxy S8 in a unique purple color.
Samsung first unveiled the Galaxy Tab S3 at the World Mobile Congress last February, but they did not announce an official launch date or price point for the long-awaited tablet. The reason behind its addition is that the iris scanner was said to be facing some issues in terms of speed and accuracy, according to a report from SamMobile, via the Korean Economic Daily, earlier this month.
Meanwhile, based on photo leaks, the upcoming Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are expected to sport virtual home buttons that partially make use of the pressure-sensitivity feature.
Adding further, the Bloomberg report also states, "While previous Galaxy phones have allowed users to unlock their phones with facial recognition, the S8 would be the first to use the technology to verify financial payment applications". Meanwhile, a reference to "Bixby" has appeared on Samsung Italy's website, indicating the imminent arrival of the AI assistant.
For photography enthusiasts, the smartphones will come with 12-megapixel dual-pixel rear camera with LED flash, while at the front there will be an 8-megapixel auto-focus selfie camera.
Along with that, the larger Galaxy S8+ will command a premium of 100€ at 899€ ($966 USD) as should be expected.
