New Samsung Galaxy S8 details emerge online, pricing and color details leaked

Samsung does this because the Snapdragon chipset seems to handle U.S. networks better.

The Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro with the model number SM-C701F has received the Wi-Fi certification recently. Both the Galaxy S8 as well as the bigger Galaxy S8+ feature a dual-curved edge display. Even better, the know and reliable leakster has posted the smartphone's price and color variants.

Speaking of which, although nearly everything regarding the upcoming Galaxy S8 has been leaked already, pricing was still a mystery.

Pre-orders are open for the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 which is just days away from the releasing in the U.S, and Samsung has confirmed price, release date and details. The reason behind its addition is that the iris scanner was said to be facing some issues in terms of speed and accuracy, according to a report from SamMobile, via the Korean Economic Daily, earlier this month. Here's our Samsung Galaxy S8 versus Samsung Galaxy S7 head-to-head.

Popular leakster Evan Blass shared press images of the Galaxy S8 that showed the color versions in Black Sky, Orchid Grey and Arctic Silver. Those leaked images seem to suggest a minimal bezel, too, so don't expect an unwanted bump in handset size either. They are expected to be powered by Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 835 SoC (U.S. only) and the company's Exynos 9 Series 8895 chip (Global).

As per the imaging department, we are not sure about the megapixel count yet. The new Samsung Galaxy A7 2017 has 16 MP of front camera as well with f/1.9 aperture and the ability to record videos at 1080p. The phone will also deliver improvements in battery life, functionality, performance, and new wireless charging technology. The phone also supports a 3,600mAh battery that is capable of giving 20 hours of talk time and 78 hours of standby time. So, this shows that the Galaxy Note 4 was, indeed, ahead of its time.

So, what do you guys think? The thing is, is Samsung's Galaxy S8 better than the Galaxy S7 and how does it compare?

The Galaxy S8+ will come at 899 Euros which is roughly Rs 63,500.
