New Handsets To Be Launched Soon, Everything That We Need To Know

The feature will not come out-of-the-box, though.

Samsung Electronics' mobile unit hopes to bounce back this year, with expectations running high over its upcoming flagship Galaxy S8 smartphone, with a bezel-free, larger display. With just days left from the revealing of its first ever look, the handset has now been involved with a new potential leak. Though the phone was planned to be unveiled in two weeks, a purple version of the Galaxy S8 has leaked, but it doesn't tell much.

The new version of facial recognition in the Galaxy S8 will authenticate select apps for mobile payments, paving the way for Samsung Pay to get that capability.

This was confirmed by one of the industry official whose identity is withheld with inside knowledge about Samsung Galaxy S8. The front of the devices will feature an 18:9 aspect ration, and will remove all physical buttons.

On the camera front, the device sports a 13-megapixel rear camera, while for the front, there is a 5-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. The Galaxy S8 in the video has model number SM-G950 and carries the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC on board. Both phones feature an IP68 certification rating meaning that they can be submerged to as deep as 3.3-inches for as long as 30-minutes, and escape unscathed.

First, the keyboard can be attached at different points to allow for at least three different angles, from nearly straight up to a roughly 45-degree angle to laying nearly flat to make the best use of the supported S Pen. As you likely remember, Samsung ended up having to recall the Note 7 previous year after reports began to spread of the phablet bursting into flames. In addition to that, you will be able to control all the operations made with the touch interface using voice commands with Bixby. After the disastrous Note 7, the Korean tech giant invested time and money into making a safer battery technology.

The smartphone business is one of the most lucrative businesses around. Ubergizmo reported that the Galaxy S8 would feature faster wireless charging with a new Qi base.
