Senior Citizens from Touchmark retirement home are celebrating St. Patrick's with a pub crawl.
"It's like Christmas for us", explained Cloe Cameron, guest relations manager for the Irish Times Pub.
Named one of the top Irish pubs outside of Ireland by Dublin's local newspaper in 2015, Cameron says they're expecting more than 1,000 patrons throughout the day.
While green beer won't be served at the pub, there is plenty of Guinness on tap.
More than half a million Kiwis have Irish ancestry and the last Census revealed about 14,000 people identify as being Irish-born.
