Star Wars Land comes to life in glorious new video

With relatively little information being leaked about the upcoming Star Wars Lands in Disneyland and Walt Disney World, Disney seems to be leaking more and more information with each passing week. Disney has already promised more updates in the months to come about the Naboo-like planet, as well as the citizens, aliens and droids who populate it.

First featured in The Empire Strikes Back, the Imperial Walkers are those hulking, four-legged All Terrain Armored Transport vehicles, one of which Luke's buddy Wedge Antilles foiled by flying his Snowspeeder's tow cable around its legs.

While construction is quickly coming along, Disney said its Star Wars-themed lands won't open until 2019, so there's still a long way to go.

Also slated to make an appearance soon are two attractions: one which will allow visitors to take the controls of the Millennium Falcon on a secret mission, and another that will pit guests in the middle of a climatic battle between the First Order and the Resistance from Star Wars.

In a blog post, Disney revealed new details of the signature attractions at both "Star Wars" land locations.

By way of video, Disney has officially revealed spectacular Star Wars Land construction plans in the form of full-sized AT-AT Walkers. The "Star Tours" attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Florida-which will also receive a Star Wars-themed land-features a pretty sizable static AT-AT flanking its entrance.
