Back in September, Emma was forced to act after snaps showing her wearing a sheer top were shared on sleazy website Celeb Jihad.
The Daily Telegraph reports that Emma's team has confirmed the leak but denied the content contains nudity.
Watson's publicist said her stolen pictures were taken during a fitting she had with a stylist "a couple of years ago", without offering further details about the circumstances of the shoot or how the images had ended up in the wrong hands.
This, of course, isn't the first time A-list celebs have been the target of hacking. In fact, Emma Watson treated her fans - and particularly the male half of her fans - to a little bit of a "nip slip" recently. "But yeah, certainly people have asked and I've gone 'Is there a controversy about this?'" Photograph by Tim Walker. However sources close to the star say she was not nude, but merely in a state of undress.
The photos appeared on an anonymous message board which led to social media chatter that alerted the actress to the photos being leaked. In 2015, she gave an empowering speech at the United Nations about feminism. However, no naked pics of Watson have been released ever since.
It was not immediately clear if the pictures, which remained available on the site early afternoon Los Angeles time, were obtained in an attack linked to the Watson theft.
"Feminism is about giving women choice, feminism is not a stick with which to beat other women with".
In 2014, many speculated that Emma Watson nude photos leaked as part of the massive and scandalous photo hack of dozens of celebrities, including Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton. Some of the explicit pictures showed the "Harry Potter" star in a bathtub.
