Samsung Unveils Surprising New Designer TV

"Our 2017 lineup is ushering in a new era for television". There is now no info on whether this smart television uses Samsung's QLED technology or features a 4K display. The Frame's bezels can also be interchanged to fit in with a specific home style. "This is how television transforms-and becomes an essential part of your lifestyle".

Televisions can really disrupt the design flow in a room, and sometimes make a room seem less formal, but Samsung's Frame is aiming to change that.

At the heart of the QLED line is a refined metal Quantum Dot material, which addresses all the major aspects of picture quality, including viewing angle, colour volume, brightness and bold contrast.

Dubbed "TV of Light", the QLED TV is known for its delivery of optimal brightness level and stunning visual experience.

What's most interesting for gamers, will be the way the QLED syncs with other devices.

The Frame is Samsung's latest attempt to push the boundaries of TV technology.

Its design integrity is enhanced if you DO wall mount it, though, by its use of Samsung's new Invisible Connection technology. This is achieved by using near-transparent wires and an external connection box.

Samsung has also introduced the No Gap Wall-mount which brings the TV flush against the wall, closer than ever before. There's is also an optional Studio Stand customers can purchase with The Frame.

Samsung's 2017 QLED TV lineup is available starting at Dollars 2,799 at and at retailers in the US. The set was teased at CES 2017, but the company was only showing it off as a proof of concept then.

Originally showed off at CES, The Frame features a almost bezel-less display and an Art Mode, which instead of the TV falling asleep, the display shows off over 100 different art pieces in 10 distinctive styles, such as landscape, architecture, wildlife and more. With more than 100 art pieces in 10 different categories - including landscape, architecture, wildlife, action, drawing and more - to choose from, it is sure to please every design preference.

It's primarily created to be wall-mounted so it can mimic an actual picture frame hanging on your wall, but it's also compatible with Samsung's Studio Stand, too, which props it high up at about picture-frame height. The Frame will be available this Spring. Sound+ delivers expansive, immersive, 5-channel sound. With the ultimate in UHD Blu-ray performance and HDR capability, the UBD-K8500 led the market for the entirety of 2016.
