New 9.7-inch iPad Pro 2 may be a merely minor update

Apple may also releasew iPad models, according to analytics firm Fiksu. The company is expected to launch its new tablets in the very near future. Gadget 360 speculated that the company may either send out invites soon and hold an event later than next week, or announce the event via a press release. With the refurbished model, consumers can enjoy the MacBooks with a 20% discount over the brand new unit.
Apple could update the 9.7-inch iPad Pro without a special event, according to Japanese analysts via Macotakara.
Apple is reportedly going to offer these tablets in 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage options with Space Grey, Rose Gold, Silver, and Gold color options. Apple might plan iPad Pro 2 release next week as reported by an anonymous source. Hopefully this is the truth, as the Apple Pencil costs $99 by itself while the keyboard sells for $169.
The 10.5-inch iPad Pro is expected to have slimmer bezels, and there is a slim chance it will have no Home button, allowing it to have the same overall footprint as the 9.7-inch iPad Pro.
The rumor mill is spinning out of control lately regarding the next-gen lineup of Apple's iPad Pros. The new 9.7-inch iPad Pro 2 is said to have basically the same specifications as current 9.7-inch iPad Pro except it will get an A10X chip. The new 12.9-inch iPad Pro is rumored to feature a 12-megapixel rear camera and True Tone display.

The rumored Apple March event remains unconfirmed, especially with reports of the company delaying the supposed March launch event to May or June, and the most recent speculation of a possible April 4 event at the Steve Jobs Theater.
