Netflix Announces Season 2 Return of Aziz Ansari's 'Master of None'

And, in a teaser trailer posted on Instagram, the actor revealed that Master Of None Season 2 premieres on May 12, 2017.

A Master of None season 2 teaser trailer has been released, to mark the announcement of its premiere date.

Master Of None was, without a doubt, one of the highlights of Netflix's offerings in 2016 and really did seamlessly blend comedy and drama together from a unique perspective.

The comedian shared a short video that shows Dev (Ansari) and his best bud Arnold (Eric Wareheim) zipping around the Italian countryside on scooters, probably in search of pasta.

The series casts Ansari as Dev, a 30-year-old actor trying to make a life - and career - for himself in New York City. We've been waiting for more Master of None ever since, and Ansari just announced when that Netflix wish will come true-along with a first look.

The show's first, 10-episode season was met with tremendous critical acclaim. Ansari and Yang ended up winning an Emmy in the "Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series" category for the second episode of the series, titled "Parents".
