Formula One team make huge change to vehicle before Australian Grand Prix

The 2015 GP3 champion says he has already learnt a lot from new teammate Sergio Perez during pre-season testing and feels ready for the inter-team battle at Force India.

Force India's 2017 auto - the VJM10 - will race in an all-pink livery after the team signed a new long-term partnership agreement with water technology specialists BWT.

"The arrival of BWT in Formula One is huge news and represents one of the most significant partnerships in our ten year history", said team principal Vijay Mallya. But that's exactly what's happened, as the team has changed the look of its auto ahead of the Formula One season opener in Australia.

With the opening race of the season less than two weeks away Force India revealed their new look, and Hulkenberg has jokingly suggested it was the real reason for his exit.

"It's a sign of how far we have come as a team with our strong results and completes a solid commercial performance over the winter". The team had just launched their new vehicle with a grey and black colour scheme a few weeks ago.

Esteban Ocon says he wants to achieve points finishes at every race in 2017 during his first full season in Formula One with Force India.

BWT chief executive Andreas Weißenbacher added: "The collaboration with Sahara Force India is an important part of our brand-globalisation strategy and will dynamically increase awareness of our brand around the world".
