Capcom Announces The Disney Afternoon Collection

Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers and Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers 2 - Bring in a friend for classic co-op Capcom platforming action as one of you plays as Chip, and the other as Dale. The NES was a pretty niche console in the United Kingdom, especially outside the obvious Nintendo classics, and we're not sure how many United Kingdom gamers actually know or care about games like Chip 'N Dale Rescue Rangers 1 and 2, Darkwing Duck, DuckTales 1 and 2, and TaleSpin.

If you played DukTales Remastered and thought "hey this is great, but I sure would love to play the original DuckTales", then you're in luck, as Capcom has just announced the Disney Afternoon Collection, containing HD versions of the six classic Disney games.

Darkwing Duck - Take control of the witty superhero Darkwing Duck and fight crime in St. Canard.

The Disney Afternoon Collection is already arriving next month on Xbox One.

DuckTales and DuckTales 2 - Embark on classic treasure seeking adventures through exotic stages as the pogo master millionaire Scrooge McDuck. All of this, plus an in-game museum featuring facts and images from the original releases.

TaleSpin - Take to the skies as Baloo the bear navigates his plane through exotic and risky locations in this side-scrolling shoot-em-up. The package features high-definition 1080p support for these 8-bit classics and new modes, and it releases April 18 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PCs for $20.

All of the games include new features and content, starting with a "rewind" feature where you can skip back in time by holding down a button. A new "Rewind" feature makes these challenging titles more accessible for newcomers, with the option to rewind time and enjoy a swift recovery from blunders.

Additionally, concept art, music, and "other fun extras" for the games are included with the Disney Afternoon Collection, Capcom said in its announcement.
