'Judas is still number one' - Mourinho hits back at Chelsea fans

How can two sets of fans show the same love for one manager, especially if the teams involved are Chelsea and Manchester United.

By way of response, Mourinho raised three fingers to remind the home fans how many league titles he won during his two spells in charge of the club.

United, by contrast, last week made a 3,750-mile round trip to face Russian side Rostov in the Europa League - hardly the ideal preparation for Monday's FA Cup showdown.

"I repeat: for me, the most important thing is what happens on the pitch, the football that one team or the other is trying to play".

Mourinho also claimed that he was not responsible for Chelsea's failure to qualify for any European competition this season. Although Hazard was not literally the matchwinner, with Kanté's second-half long-range strike proving the game's only goal, it was his movement which ensured Chelsea's passing improved dramatically, and his trickery which resulted in Herrera's dismissal, the contest's turning point.

Mourinho is also a believer when it comes to defence first and if it was any team but Chelsea in this FA Cup tie, he wouldn't hesitate to park the bus and play on the counter.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is serving a ban for his clash with Tyrone Mings last week, Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial are injured and Marcus Rashford is ill.

Watching the start of the game, it took a bit of time to work out how United were playing, because their formation certainly didn't at all resemble a conventional flat back four or line of three.

Mourinho's frustration boiled over at times and the Portuguese and Italian Conte had to be separated after an angry exchange shortly after Herrera's sending off.

Chelsea are next up against Stoke City in an away Premier League fixture on Saturday.

"Until the moment they have a manager that wins four Premier Leagues for them, I'm No 1. until then Judas is No 1", Mourinho said in his post-match press conference.

"They defend a lot and well, and they counter attack and kill opponents on the counter attack similar to my Chelsea".

But, who is better: Kante or Pogba?
