Driver bloodied after fight breaks out after NASCAR race

It's only the third race of the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series schedule, but tempers between Kyle Busch and Joey Logano have already reached a boiling point. Busch can be seen with a bloody forehead after getting up off the ground. Crew members and NASCAR officials intervened to restrain both drivers.

"Not much talking, a lot of swinging", Logano said of the scuffle.

Busch made a quick visit to the infield care center before leaving the track and did not stop to speak to a Performance Racing Network reporter. There was some contact with Logano's vehicle that caused the wreck, and after the race, Busch went straight for Logano.

"I got dumped", Busch told Fox Sports.

"That's how Joey races", Busch said while walking away on Fox's TV post-race coverage.

As Martin Truex Jr. celebrated his victory with burnouts on the track, Busch climbed out of his wrecked vehicle and made a beeline for Logano's auto and promptly started throwing punches.

Logano, who finished fourth, explained what happened from his perspective.

But the feud involving Logano and Busch, the 2015 Cup champ, will be the top storyline as the series travels to Phoenix for next week's race.

"Yeah, I guess it's always surprising", he said".

Now, Logano got loose and wrecked Busch at his home track of Las Vegas. "He's going to get it". He tried to pin me down into the corner underneath Brad. Kyle and I usually race really well together. It was nothing intentional but obviously he thinks that.
