Penn State's season ends at 15-18. The Nittany Lions couldn't catch a break, and eventually the Spartans started to drift away from Penn State.

Still Nebraska showed the promise of this season, starting Big Ten play with road wins at then-No. Michigan State plodded ahead and the Nittany Lions struggled to stay on track, by the time Penn State's 12-3 run late in the first half cut the Spartan lead to single digits it was nearly too late.
Michigan State's shooting efficiency dipped in the second half as they shot 9/23 (39.1%) on their field goal attempts, but the Spartans continued to increase their lead as the second half progressed as the Nittany Lions' poor shooting continued. He played a good all-around game, tallying 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting with nine rebounds, three assists and two blocks in a blowout of Penn State.
