Curious about Ubisoft's extreme sports game, Steep? Available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, players will be able to take to the mountains and totally shred it up!
The free Steep trial will end at 1:00pm PT March 12 on PC and Xbox One, but for some reason will stay open on PS4 until 10:00am PT March 13.
"After months of updates, tweaks, and a free expansion that adds the peaks of Alaska's Denali to its snowy open world, shredding down the pristine slopes of Steep is better than ever", explained Ubisoft's Mikel Reparaz on Xbox Wire.
To download the game for free on Uplay, please launch Uplay PC.
In Steep, you can ski, snowboard, wingsuit, and paraglide all around the mountains on a variety of courses. The free trial extends to the entire game as well. The Gld Edition will be 40 percent off on Xbox Live until March 13 and until March 20 for PS4. The PC version will feature a similar discount on Ubisoft's store until March 14. Starting March 10 there will be a 50 percent discount on Steep's Standard Edition and a 40 percent discount for Steep's Gold Edition on XBL until March 21, and a 50 percent discount on Steep's Standard Edition and a 44 percent discount for Steep's Gold Edition on PSN until March 15. You can try sponsored events or just progress through the game to unlock more challenging runs.
Steep came out late past year and received favorable reviews, with reviewers praising the game's visuals and variety but criticizing the game's noticeable technical issues. The region of Alaska is now available, featuring new areas to grind, new "spinelines" to find, and an updated editor mode that includes more camera angles.
