Star Wars: The Last Jedi footage screened for Disney shareholders

The Disney CEO offered some footage of the upcoming Star Wars sequel, The Last Jedi, at the company's annual shareholder meeting in Denver Wednesday - and the footage apparently included a pretty major spoiler for the movie.

According to Daniel Miller, a reporter for the Los Angeles Times who was at the shareholder summit, Luke's first words to Rey are, "Who are you?".

And ... that line ... it's going to disappoint you, it's very pedestrian ... is... we're still talking about the line here ... that we're about to reveal ... here it comes now ... and it is.

Rian Johnson directs the film, which includes Star Wars: The Force Awakens castmembers Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie and Andy Serkis. According to Miller, Skywalker asks Rey's identity, and she responds with a demonstration of her lightsaber skills.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is due out in theaters December 15. Then we see her deftly handle a lightsaber.

Also making appearances in "The Last Jedi" footage: Chewbacca, General Leia Organa and Finn.

One last thing on the "Last Jedi" footage: We saw all sorts of settings - mountains, oceans, forests, deserts.

More on "The Last Jedi" clip: We saw a shot of an X-wing wobbling mid-air, under attack inside a giant ship. Miller said the footage looked "suitably epic, exotic". Is this a clue about Poe Dameron, or do we get to see a flashback of Luke and how he got stuck on the Jedi planet?
