Duet: New Photos From the Supergirl/Flash Musical Crossover

But just in case you weren't excited enough already, Entertainment Weekly revealed a new batch of promotional images (and a teaser-see above!), and things in the DC TV universe are shaping up to be just as glamorous as we could have hoped.

In an upcoming crossover episode, the stars of Supergirl and The Flash will flaunt their vocal chops as they battle to vanquish a musical foe. I repeat, Mon-El is the Prince of Daxam. The Music Meister (Darren Criss) attacks Supergirl.

It's still unclear how Supergirl gets knocked out by Music Meister's "whammy" in National City, but it seems Barry will have her up and running in a Flash.

While the vast majority of the action will take place on "The Flash" in an episode fitting entitled "Duet", the story will be set up at the end of the "Supergirl" episode preceding it the day before - much like with this year's four-show crossover.

DARREN CRISS ("GLEE") GUEST STARS AS THE MUSIC MEISTER IN THE FLASH AND SUPERGIRL MUSICAL CROSSOVER - Barry (Grant Gustin) and team are surprised when Mon-El (guest star Chris Wood) and Hank Henshaw (guest star David Harewood) arrive on their Earth carrying a comatose Supergirl (guest star Melissa Benoist) who was whammied by the Music Meister (guest star Darren Criss). Meanwhile, Maggie will try to lend Winn a hand when his new girlfriend Lyra gets into trouble with the law.

Newly added actors Teri Hatcher and Kevin Sorbo will soon debut in their mysterious roles after being spotted in the preview of "Supergirl" season 2's 16th episode. In order to escape, they have to sing and dance their way through an old-timey movie musical, alongside alternate reality versions of their friends who'll fill out the supporting cast.
