49ers, Eagles expected to show interest in free agent WR Kenny Britt

The Philadelphia Eagles have also been named as a potential landing spot for the 28-year-old wideout.

Adding talent on offense is rightfully one of this team's top priorities if it aims to both quickly develop and maximize Wentz's talents heading into his second season. Cooks would have to be acquired by trade while Stills and Jeffrey could command anywhere from $10-$15 million per season, so Britt could be an affordable option for the Eagles at his age coming off of the best year of his career.

In 2016, Britt caught 68 passes for 1002 yards and 5 TDs from guys like Case Keenum and Jared Goff. Those numbers would've made him the No. 1 receiver in all categories on the Bills previous year. Kelly mentions that Britt "managed to look like a true No. 1 in the Rams' bad passing attack led by Case Keenum and Jared Goff in 2016, hauling in 68 passes for 1,002 yards and five touchdowns".

According to Pro Football Talk, the Cowboys are now expecting wide receiver Terrance Williams to leave in free agency. This past season, the Eagles' issues at wide receiver were well-documented. Britt stands 6-foot-3, 223 pounds. In theory, he would be able to help Wentz out when the field shrinks.

Britt should absolutely prioritize getting a big free agent pay day if he can, and the 49ers with their ample salary cap space can make a substantial offer if they want to.
