Timberlake dedicates iHeartRadio Award to 'different kids'

The 2017 iHeart Radio Music Awards took place at the Forum in Los Angeles Sunday night.

The evening will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest and will include performances by Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, Thomas Rhett, Noah Cyrus featuring Labrinth and Big Sean, plus Coldplay's Chris Martin joins The Chainsmokers for their first USA television performance together of "Something Just Like This". From Justin Timberlake to DJ Khaled's little boy, we've rounded up the highlights from the star-studded event.

Katy Perry wears a strapless gown featuring metallic detail on the red carpet at the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Award.

"Anyone that is treating you unkindly ― it's only because they are afraid, or they have been taught to be afraid of how important you are", Timberlake said. "Because being different means you make the difference, so f-- 'em".

After being introduced by fellow iHeartRadio nominee Big Sean, Mars took the stage to perform "Treasur", and "That's What I Like", before accepting his award where he thanked his band.

"Thank you so much for this award", she continued.

Drake leads with 12 nominations, including Male Artist of the Year.
