Ellen getting her own 'game' show

NBC has ordered six episodes of an hour-long show that she will host and produce.

They will consist of what is described as "supersized versions" of games that viewers of DeGeneres daytime show are already familiar with including No or Go and What's in the Box? "Hosted and executive produced by DeGeneres, this game show is like no other - contestants, pulled right from the audience, will have to maneuver massive obstacles, answer questions under vast pressure and face a huge plunge into the unknown".

"OK, it's nothing like that", she continues, "but you should still watch".

Its premiere date is now unknown. Her talk show is one of the most important syndicated programs on the NBC stations.

She's also become a busy producer, with shows including the USA version of Little Big Shots and its upcoming spin-off, Little Big Shots: Forever Young.

Looks like Ellen's getting her games snatched.
