Warm up in store for Denver through the weekend

Skies will stay clear and quiet, with temperatures dropping to the low and mid 30's. Highs will be in the upper 30s and lower 40s. Cloudy skies are expected to continue for most of our area Saturday.

The clouds will move back in Sunday night, and Monday will be mostly cloudy with a few showers possible as a low pressure system and cold front work their way toward our region from the west. Seeing highs in the 50s and 60s has become our norm lately. These thunderstorms should not be severe but expect widespread rain that could impact your travel and outdoor plans.

Temperatures will climb into the mid 60s again on Tuesday, but our rain chances increase.

WEDNESDAY: Partly cloudy skies and cool temperatures return for midweek, with a high temperature of 55 degrees. We saw snow flurries throughout the day today, and we might see those flurries stick around overnight. We're looking at clear skies and nothing in the way of cloud cover moving in through the day. Highs only right around 50 Saturday afternoon with light winds. Highs in the 60s and up to 70 for Tuesday.
