Several Star Wars Video Games Will Be At Star Wars Celebration Orlando

While fans wait to find out more on the gameplay front, we already know some key details on the new title.

While the 2015 release of Star Wars: Battlefront received positive reviews, fans were displeased with a number of aspects.

Star Wars Battlefront 2, boasting a single player campaign set across multiple eras, is set to launch later this year while Visceral's Star Wars game is expected to launch in 2018 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

There's a bunch of Star Wars projects currently in development right now, and I'm not just talking about the films like The Last Jedi, Episode IX, the Han Solo film, and animated show like Star Wars Rebels, but there's also a plethora of comics, books, and video games that will be released in the near future. If this is true, which most probably is, as Randy Evens tweeted out that DICE is indeed doing something for a very big and upcoming trailer, then it would surely make the hype increase even more.

Speaking during the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference today, EA CFO Blake Jorgensen shared some new commentary on Star Wars Battlefront 2 and other EA games. "Luke Matthews seen here pondering the ways of the force", he wrote.

Electronic Arts has big plans for "Star Wars", with virtually all of their studios working on galactic titles: Visceral Games, SAYS, Motivate, Respawn, Bioware... The game will feature "a lot of new characters" that come from the newer Star Wars movies, Jorgensen teased.

But there is also speculation that Star Wars Rivals could be the next Star Wars animated series.
