Huge Lotto jackpot winning ticket was sold in Dublin

It has not been confirmed yet whether they intend to go public on their success.

However, the victor remains a mystery so National Lottery urges anybody who bought a ticket in this week's draw at the SuperValu branch to check their numbers.

The winning ticket was sold in Supervalu, Knocklyon in Dublin and the shop was buzzing with activity and excitement today. "We're all about being local so it must be someone local".

He added: "This is the second time I've managed a store that sold a victor".

Conor O'Hare (24) from Knocklyon could easily have been one of three people selling Lotto tickets in Supervalu yesterday. Last week the Lotto sales shot up.

Oh, what we'd give to be the lucky victor of last night's €12.9m jackpot. "I think the area was due something", he added.

The ticket, for Wednesday's night drawing, matched five of the six main numbers drawn plus the bonus number, for a prize of $195,093 before tax withholdings.

Another lucky SuperValu customer in Portlaoise, Co Laois also got more than they bargained for yesterday as there was also one lucky victor of the Match 5 + Bonus prize of €179,034.

That ticket was sold in SuperValu on the Abbeyleix Road in Portlaoise.
