Hoax caller arrested for threatening bomb blast in PM Modi's rally

Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav claimed that as the Assembly elections were inching towards the final phase, the desperation of BJP leaders was growing and they seem to be throwing in the towel. But as the election progressed, the discomfort of the BJP has been growing.
The call was received by the Delhi Police's control room, wherein the caller said that there will be a bomb blast in the Mau rally addressed by Modi, said a senior police officer. A 30-member team of city BJP leaders and workers have left for UP where they would campaign for the party.
But it was not a smooth sailing for the ruling party at the centre as its alliance partner Anupriya Patel led Apna Dal (Sonelal) had fielded candidates on four assembly seats in eastern Uttar Pradesh against the saffron party.
