Justice League is coming out this year and despite the fact that there is some trepidation about the DC Extended Universe as a whole at this point, it is a big deal and there is a ton of excitement surrounding the movie. Now, Zack Snyder is giving fans a sneak peek at Aquaman's undersea home with a brief clip he posted on the social media app Vero (which we, in turn, saw via io9). Zack tweeted out a 5-second video of Jason Momoa's Aquaman swimming under the sea in a scene from the upcoming Justice League movie. The surrounding background is full of corals and underwater creatures, which indicates that it could be the lost city of Atlantis. The movie will exclusively be focusing on the character's background and his fight with the Ocean Master, to be played by Patrick Wilson. However, you can't hear anything and the footage seems to come from the editing bay, as Snyder is prepping the film for its November 17 release.
In the short clip we see Jason Momoa's half-Atlantean ruler Arthur Curry moving gracefully through the water before meeting with a mysterious figure, who could be half-brother and longtime foe Ocean Master (Patrick Wilson) based on his armour. While it isn't yet officially mentioned, a report from Coming Soon reveals that the movie is expected to star Ciarán Hinds as the villain Steppenwolf. The person recording the footage with a cell phone makes the footage look like an episode of 'Mystery Science Theater 3000.' Poor Aquaman, the guy can't catch a break.
