Starbucks to debut two new macchiatos this spring

Starting Tuesday, non-dairy fans can enjoy either a "Coconutmilk Mocha Macchiato" or an "Iced Cinnamon Almondmilk Macchiato". Also added on top of the drink is a swirl of mocha sauce to accompany the caramel drizzle to complete the five layers of flavor.

Starbucks has added two limited-edition macchiato beverages at stores in the U.S. and Canada.

Starbucks beverage developer Yoke Wong explained: "With macchiato, we first pour the steamed milk and then add the espresso".

Do either of these Starbucks Macchiato beverages sound like they might be your new fave?

The other new beverage, the Cinnamon Almondmilk Macchiato is recommended severed iced, and features the smooth and creamy combo of almond milk, cinnamon and caramel.

"The result is a coffee-forward flavor with handsome layers".

"The original inspiration for the beverage is from horchata, a popular beverage in Spain and Latin America". They can all be served hot or iced.

Granted, nothing gives us #SpringGoal vibes quittttteeee like Starbucks' cherry blossom-inspired Sakura beverages, but until they make their way over to the U.S., we'll have to make do. Of course if you can't get enough of ombré drinks, you can also order the Matcha Pink Drink - a secret menu item made by topping strawberry Acaia refresher with coconut milk with one part Matcha coconut milk.
